The Splendid Table has been an original weekend companion for more than two decades.
Hosted by award-winning food writer Francis Lam, this culinary, culture and lifestyle public radio program celebrates the intersection of food and life. It hosts our nation’s conversations about cooking, sustainability and food culture, and has introduced listeners to generations of food dignitaries, from Anthony Bourdain and Julia Child to Michael Pollan and Nigella Lawson.
The show — an hour-long program created "for people who love to eat" — has appeared on numerous best-of podcast lists, including being named an outstanding food podcast by New York magazine in 2017, the top food podcast to listen to in 2016 by the Huffington Post, and one of the top five food podcasts of 2016 by CNN.
